There are just four days until the start of the Summer Math Institute 2009. Program is now set. Speakers are all registered. Picnic is Sunday August 2 at 6:30. Let the fun begin. --fts
I came today from Ithaca to this most beautiful place on Cayuga Lake. Felt very much at home from the moment I came. Sat on Kate Nowak session (it is easy to remember her name because my last name is Novak). Kate gave us a link to useful Blogs (for some reason I cannot paste it here) and explained how to use Blogging and I am going to try it. It is a way to connect and share ideas with other people.
What is common to all of us here is that we are all teachers and love Math and are committed to share this love with young people.
I am very happy I came and I hope to come again this week and to continue to be involved with the work
